What information do we collect and how is it used?
SV&MHS collects the following information to its recruitment website:
Domain name, name, information regarding what pages are accessed, information volunteered by you, such as survey information, email address, or web site registrations, and your preferred means of communication. SV&MHS collects and logs this information for statistical purposes or for the purposes for which the information is volunteered. Other than for the purposes stated in the preceding, no attempt is made to identify users or their browsing activities except, in the event of an investigation, where a law enforcement agency may exercise a warrant to inspect logs, or where SV&MHS believes it is required to collect and produce relevant electronic documentation to fulfil its obligations to third parties, including statutory organisations under local law.
Personal and sensitive information will be collected from you when you attend an interview or submit your resume or take part in any psychometric assessments or tests.
Personal and sensitive information will also be collected when we receive: any reference about you from; results of inquiries that we might make of your former employers, work colleagues, educational institutions, professional associations or registration body; the results of any competency or medical test; performance feedback (whether positive or negative); any complaint from or about you in the workplace; any information about a workplace accident in which you are involved; information about any insurance investigation, litigation, registration or professional disciplinary matter, criminal matter, inquest or inquiry in which you may be involved
In connection with assessing or effecting your actual or possible work placement, performance appraisals, ongoing performance and prospects, management of any complaint, investigation or inquiry in which you may be involved, or proposal that requires disclosure of your personal or sensitive information.
SV&MHS takes all reasonable security measures to protect personal information from loss, unauthorised access, destruction, misuse, modification or disclosure. However, unauthorised access remains a possibility. As far as permissible under law, SV&MHS accepts no responsibility for the unauthorised access of personal information held by SV&MHS.
