Upholding the mission and values of the Sisters of Mercy and the Sisters of Charity remains a key priority. The Hospital is involved in a number of community programs aimed at helping the poor and marginalised. Each year, funding and support is provided to the Mercy Foundation. This ongoing commitment is one of the many ways the staff at the Mater demonstrate their dedication to helping those in need.
But what makes the Mater truly special is its compassionate and caring culture that gives individual attention to patient needs for healing body, mind and spirit. The same compassion and respect extends to staff, their families, volunteers and business associates. |
