At St Joseph's Village we take your success seriously. That's why we've created programs to help you control your future and develop your skills in aged care. It goes well beyond the support you would expect from a healthcare provider. No matter what role you take at St Joseph's Village all staff and volunteers are encouraged to participate in education and professional development.
Here's a sample of our programs on offer:
- Orientation programs for new staff
- Annual mandatory training day which includes education on fire safety, occupational health & safety, and Mission for all staff
- Monthly OH&S training
- Care staff are required to achieve competency on clinical duties
- Quizzes on a range of topics are distributed to staff regularly to ensure their knowledge is maintained and improved
- Scholarship to the value of $1500 is awarded annually (Conditions Apply - Applicants to have been employed by St Joseph's Village for at least 2 years, and committed to staying with the organisation for 12 months from the time of application)
- Access to learning and professional development programs offered throughout the organisation
